I thought I had lost you for all eternity,
I truly believed that evil had taken over my sister.
Before my eyes you transformed into something far less than human;
No longer were we bonded by the thickest of bloods.
After failing to save you from the ugliness of fate,
I prayed endlessly to avoid succumbing to the curse.
But, quickly I had no choice but to follow you;
I was left alone to fight for my life.
Every waking moment was an endless struggle;
Seconds turned to minutes before my eyes,
And hours dragged on to days,
Until eventually time became my worst enemy.
Life was unbearingly dark without you by my side;
My beautiful sister, my vengeful protector.
I began forgetting the memories, the people, the faces,
And eventually I was barely able to recognize my own reflection.
But, just when the hourglass was fading fast,
You broke through the barricaded fortress,
You broke all the wretched rules;
You used this poisonous curse to save me.
For a moment I saw us little again,
The words from the past came floading my mind;
Out by sixteen or dead in this scence,
But, together forever...
